- EVENT "Kolkota Dogs" - May 17th 2023

Signature of "Chiens de Kolkota" (Kolkota Dogs), the new book for children - and for adults, by Marie-France Annasse, in the presence of the artist.

"In 2019, the Alliance Française du Bengale invited me to present my animated film The day of a God, Indian blue kiss. The first evening I was invited to dinner on the terrace of a restaurant in Kolkata (Calcutta).

As night fell, I pointed out that here, as everywhere in India, it is the time when stray dogs take control in the streets. Tiphaine Mayran, the director of the Alliance at that time, then told me a unique story experienced by one of her friends. Immediately, I wanted to tell it in my own way. I took my time, and here is "Chiens de Kolkata" an illustrated album, edited with care by les8cobras."

- EVENT Dori Signature - May 25th 2023

Signature of “Dori”, the artist’s book by Kaamna Patel, in residence at the Cité internationale des arts, in the presence of the artist - signature organized in partnership with Mah, Spirit of the forest.

Dori (Thread in Hindi) seeks to link issues of love and family by observing an important relationship the author grew up with as a child in a shared family, that of his grandparents. Incorporating its images into archives and family conversations, the book testifies to a life shared between two strangers who met in their childhood, and to their love through the ages.
